The 3rd Quarter results are in! This was a great quarter with a lot of new content contributors and members providing even higher quality of material for our community-oriented blog. The most popular item was submitted by Commissioner Jeff Rader, District #2, DeKalb County (for the top 25 items, see attached file at bottom of article, 2009Q3-Top-25.pdf).

Join me in congratulating Jeff Rader for making the most valued blog contribution to Community Radar® during this most recent quarter! Thanks to member donations, the award this quarter is $80.

Mr. Rader directed that the funds be sent to the benefit of the Boys and Girls Club - Brookhaven. This contribution means three children will be sponsored for wonderful programs at the club. Jeff's choice continues the tradition of non-profit donations started by our first quarter winner, John Heneghan of Dunwoody who directed his award to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk and our second quarter winner, Open & Transparent (anonymous blogger at DeKalb School Watch) who directed the award to Cross Keys High School.

You can help by contributing as little as $1 to our quarterly and annual content funds. All proceeds are 100% directed to the award winners and they decide how to dispose of the fund. By contributing even small amounts individually each of us can make a significant financial contribution to non-profits in our community via Community Radar® content Awards.

You can also help your community by connecting to Community Radar® and sharing what you know about civic and community news. Our Community Radar® process amplifies each member's efforts by leveraging it to the benefit of all possible stakeholders.
