Imagine It! The Children's MuseumImagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta’s seventh annual fundraising event, Amuse’um,  will feature a grown-up evening of sweets and treats that’s sure to bring to life childhood memories of favorite stories for this year’s attendees.  The event will take place at the Museum on Saturday, Feb. 20, beginning at 7 p.m.

The storybook themed evening of festivities, focused on children’s literacy, will take adults back to their childhood with a whimsical spin on nursery rhymes.  The make-believe atmosphere will include delicious, themed food and cocktails, live music performed by the American Flyers, and silent and live auctions.  Guests will also enjoy unique playground areas with a caricaturist, photo booth, Wii zone, face painting, and back by popular demand, colorful Rapunzel updos by the Fair Hair Ladies.  Performances by the Imaginators, the Museum’s troupe of professional actors and educators, will be a highlight of the evening.

The Museum’s goal is to raise $200,000 and over 500 guests are expected to attend the event.  All funds raised will benefit the educational programs and exhibits for the non-profit children’s museum.  Tickets for the event are $125 and are available online at this link. Availability is limited and the event is expected to sell out.
